Located southwest of Ormskirk, Aughton Village is an agricultural and residential area. Predominantly filled with tree lined roads, shops, schools, and churches, Aughton Village is more of a suburban/rural area than a tourist spot. The village mainly centers itself around the parish church of St. Michael. At Aughton Village visitors will be astounded by the beautiful green farmland. There are a few lodging places available including the Swan Hotel, and the West Tower Country Hotel.
