Bridgend in Glamorgan

BRIDGEND rich in heritage and history nestling at the base of the Heritage Hills is halfway between Cardiff and Swansea. Early remains indicate evidence of Bronze & Iron age habitation however, the Normans arrived in 1093AD. A pleasant market town with its busy streets and shops, excellent out of town shopping facilities. There are three castles in Bridgend and Cefn Cribwr Ironworks – Bridgend’s industrial past.
