NEWPORT Tredegar House in Newport was home to the famous and powerful Morgan family for over 500 years, lookback in time and imagine what life was like upstairs and downstairs! Set in 90 acres of award winning parkland and gardens, visitors can explore the trails, enjoy boating on the lake and carriage rides. Like most of the towns Newport also has an art gallery and museum depicting local history with relics from the Chartist uprising.
