Chinatown

Chinatown is a relatively small area centered around Gerrard and Lisle Streets and marked by its dramatic ornamental gate. Concentrated here are many traditional Chinese shops, restaurants and businesses. Whilst it is home to many of London's Chinese community, it is a popular tourist venue for those who come to sample and enjoy Chinese culture food and tradition. Each Chinese New Year, in late January or early February, a Dragon dance is held in the streets.
