Royal Hospital Chelsea

The Royal Hospital Chelsea was built by Sir Christopher Wren on the instruction of King Charles II to house war veterans and has been the home of the Scarlet Coated Chelsea Pensioners since 1682. Visit the beautiful buildings, museum and gift shop. The public are welcome to visit. The grounds also open to the public except during the Chelsea Flower Show,organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, which takes place over 4 days during the last week of May.
