Playhouse Theatre

This is the second theatre to stand on this site - the original was destroyed when part of Charing Cross Station collapsed. The present theatre, designed by Blow and Billerey in 1907 underwent major refurbishment in the late 1980's. Since then it has had success with Ray Cooney's farce It Runs In The Family, and more recently with an adaptation of Jane Eyre.
