The West End refers to the shopping and theatre area made up of Oxford Street, Regent Street, Tottenham Court Road, Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road. Oxford Street and Regent Street are famous for their large stores and Christmas decorations. You will fing the famous toy store of Hamleys in Regent Street along with the Disney Store and Liberty of London. Oxford Street is full of large department stores such as Selfridges and John Lewis as well as the large record stores. Shaftesbury Avenue is primarily theatres and Charing Cross Road consists mainly of bookshops. Tottenham Court Road is the electrical gadget lovers dream as it is full of shops selling hi-fi, computers and other such items.
