Kintyre in Argyll

KINTYRE is a narrow peninsula in the far West of Scotland which extends approximately for 40 miles from Tarbet in the North to the Mull of Kintyre in the South. There are busy fishing ports such as Campbeltown with it’s natural harbour, Tarbet to the south, an attractive fishing port on a land locked bay. Lots of history to delve into, many outdoor activities such as fishing, walking, hill climbing and sailing. You will be surprised at the quality of the beaches and the weather, sunnier and drier than you might imagine!
